Reblogging again because I just realized that if I had this advice in high school I would’ve never made a tumblr account.

Also works for most of those news sites like WSJ or NYT that only let you read a little bit, or block adblockers. Also some disable the scroll bar but if you go to the right side of the console after hitting F12 and look for the CSS element “overflow” and change it from “hidden” to “visible” then you can continue scrolling for free. Might have to click around on different parts of the page to find it, but it should work.

There’s also a Firefox/Chrome extension called Behind The Overlay that does all that with one mouse click. Used it for years; what a time saver.

And if you encounter a true paywall, use Archive.Today to bypass it. Just paste the paywalled url into the blue “search archived snapshots” box near the bottom:

So… I may have this wild fantasy Saber/Revice au that I made up… like I never wrote anything about it ever, it’s entirely in my head and everything…

The Saber side is basically a fantasy version of canon without the transforming, they’re just swordsmen with elemental swords lol, and the SoL is a well known “legendary secret society” that isn’t as legendary (in the people think it doesn’t exist anymore way) as the world thinks. I couldn’t decide if they were all just swordsmen loyal to one monarch (like Luna) or if they were from multiple allied kingdoms… And they all had ordinary day jobs lol

But. This is damn near exactly what I envisioned it to be like Revice-side-wise?? Except the Igarashi sibs were also royalty in my au XD

Ngl I find it slightly hilarious that Hiromi still looks the same and all he got was a sword XD I may have indulged in a little fantasizing to make the Saber OC I cooked up (the one that ended up being Mei in some of my fics) hook up with Hiromi in my mental au.. lololol
